2015 Season

We are excited for the 2015 Season for all of the teams. We are going to change things this year with regard to communication. We are going to try and use the website exclusively for schedules and information. Below find additional information regarding the upcoming season.

New player registration forms will be uploaded shortly.  Each player will complete their own form.  There will not be a common form for siblings any longer.

Our 5/6 grade team and 7th grade players moving up to the 7/8 grade team will have new uniforms. We will be using reversible pinnies and skorts, similar to the 7/8 grade team last year. So if your child is 5/6/7 grade they will require a new uniform. Make sure it is marked on the registration form. A sizing chart will be forwarded.

We will be placing each team's schedule on the website. There will be no more pdf attachments emailed. This will help Mike and I to manage the program better. Directions will be posted here as well.

We are planning on trying to keep the majority of games to Saturday and Sunday afternoons, whether home or away. Tuesday's and Wednesday's will be our main practice days for 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 grades.  The 7/8 grade will play mostly games as the majority of this team will be playing modified lacrosse.

If any 7/8 grade players require community service for school, let Mike or I know and we can have them assist at the practices for the younger groups.

There will be weekday games at times. Not having enough coaches forces us to schedule this way so we can get the right amount of games for each grade.

We will begin Winter practices, for grades 3 through 6, on Wednesday Feb 25 2015 in the Pocantico Hills gym at 6:30pm and will run until 8pm. Our 1/2 grade team this year will begin practices when we start going outside. Their schedule, as always, will include 3 to 5 games.

Currently we are looking to have the 5/6 grade (Saturday - April 25) and 7/8 grade (Sunday.- April 26) team play in the Brewster Tourney.A fun time for the girls.

No games on Easter, Mother's day or Memorial Day weekend.

Lastly, volunteers. We would like to have additional coaches for the 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6 grade teams. Mike and I will be present and assist. We can tailor the teams to make it work for anyone who volunteers.
